Next Level

Monday, November 02, 2009

I'm been not blogging for quite sometime due to busy-ness in reading and ministry at the same time. Now I just update a bit.

I've been wanting and figuring how to edit certain videos and now I realised that months of cracking of mind is solved within less than a week.

I'm glad for my new youth pastor, Richard Chen for encouraging me in doing all these stuffs. What happen was last Tuesday night Bible Studies, while listening to message and video-ing at the same time, all the sudden an idea just came across my mind and I'm excited about it. After the service, I give a short briefing to Melvin and Kon Way and that's it.

Last Thursday I went to the camp site with Pr. Richard, Sis, Poay Peng, Jerome and Melvin to do some filming but at night my video camera jammed. I thought I'm gonna fail again this round of achieving another level of video editing. On Friday, the solution just came in like that and I'm on my way into doing this. At night, My layout plan just came out like that. It's so amazing Thank GOD!

On Saturday, the filming day arrived. We just workout of whatever we had in the morning for the night screening. Surprisingly it took us just 2 hours plus to finish everything! It's a miracle! Of course the night screening was success!! Thank you Jesus for everything!

I would like to thank Melvin, Kon way, and Ben Teoh plus Pr. Richard for this video!

How He Love us

Sunday, October 11, 2009

A lot of people and churches are jumping on this song because it is so powerful but the story behind it is even better.  Most of the mainline churches that are singing it probably do not realize that it started with us charismaniacs and came right out of the heart of Morningstar.  Funny how they make fun of us for speaking in tongues but love the music that truly experiencing the Spirit through that experience produces.
The first video is the story and the second video is Jared Anderson doing the same song…

From: Ps. Daniel Ross, @ http://wheresdaniel.com/

P/s: Listen to the testimony on the 1st video, It's a very powerful one. It's gonna shake you.

Lyrics
He is jealous for me
Loves like a hurricane
I am a tree
Bending beneath
The weight of his wind and mercy
When all of a sudden
I am unaware of these
Afflictions eclipsed by glory
And I realize how beautiful you are
And how great your afflictions for me

Oh how he loves us so
Oh how he loves us
How he loves us so

Yea He loves us
Oh how

We are his portion
And he is our prize
Drawn to redemption by the grace in his eyes
If grace is an ocean we're all sinking
So heaven meats earth like a sloppy wet kiss
And my heart burns violently inside of my chest
I don't have time to maintain these regrets
When I think about the way
He loves us

Oh how he loves us so
Oh how he loves us
How he loves us so

Yea He loves us
Oh how

I thought about you
The day Stephen died
And you met me between my breaking
I know that I still love you God
Despite the agony
See people they want to tell me your cruel
But if Stephen could sing
He'd say its not true
Cause your good

NASA Proves that the BIBLE is real

Saturday, September 12, 2009

For all you scientists out there and for all the students who have had
a hard time convincing these people regarding the truth of the Bible here's
something that illustrates God's awesome creation and shows He is still
in control.

Did you know that NASA's space programmers are busy proving that was has been called 'myth' in the Bible is true? Mr.. Harold Hill, President of
the Curtis Engine Company in Baltimore, and a consultant in the space programmes, relates the following incident:

One of the most amazing things that God has for us today happened recently to our astronauts and space scientists at Green Belt, Maryland. They were checking out the positions of the sun, moon and planets out in space where they would be 100, and 1000 years from now. We have to know this as we do not want a satellite to collide with any of these in its orbits. We have to lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the satellite and where the planets will be so the whole project will not bog down. Computer measurements and data were run back and forth over the centuries when suddenly it came to a halt, displaying a red signal, which meant that either there was something wrong with the information fed into it or with the results as compared to the standards. They called in the service department to check it out, and the technicians asked what was wrong.

The scientists had discovered that somewhere in space in elapsed time a
day was missing. Nobody seemed able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Finally one of the team, a Christian, said: "You know, when I was
still in Sunday School, they spoke about the sun standing still......."

While his colleagues didn't believe him, they did not have an answer either,
so they said: "Show us." He got a Bible and opened it at the book of Joshua where they found a pretty ridiculous statement for any one with 'common sense'. There they read about the Lord saying to Joshua:
"Fear them not, I have delivered them into thy hand; there shall not
be a man of them stands before thee." (Joshua 10:8).

Joshua was concerned because the enemy had surrounded him, and if darkness fell, they would overpower him. So Joshua asked the Lord to make the sun stand still! That's right "And the sun stood still and the moon
stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is
this not written in the book of Ja'sher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven and hastened not to go down about a whole day." (Joshua 10:13).

The astronauts and scientists said: "There is the missing day!"
They checked the computers going back into the time it was written and
found it, but it was not close enough.. The elapsed time that was missing
back in Joshua's day was 23 hours and 20 minutes not a whole day. They
read the Bible again and there it was: "about (approximately) a day."
These little words in the Bible were important, but they were still in
trouble, because another 40 minutes were still unaccounted for, and this
could mean trouble 1000 years from now. Forty minutes had to be found because it can be multiplied many times over in orbits.

As the Christian employee thought about it, he remembered somewhere in
the Bible which said the sun went backwards. The scientists told him he
was out of his mind, but once again they opened the Book and read these
words in 2 Kings.

Hezekiah, on his deathbed, was visited by the prophet, Isaiah, who told
him he was not going to die. Hezekiah asked for some sign as proof. Isaiah
said: "Shall the sun go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?"
And Hezekiah answered: "It is a light thing for the shadow to go down
ten degrees; nay, but let the shadow return backwards ten degrees."
And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the Lord, and He brought the shadow ten
degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz."
(2 Kings 20:9 -11).

Ten degrees is exactly 40 minutes! Twenty-three hours and twenty minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in 2 Kings accounted for the missing day in the universe!

Isn't this amazing? Our God is rubbing their noses in His Truth! Forward
this to as many people who would think this is equally astounding.

Psalm 103

Friday, August 21, 2009

1 Bless the LORD, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

6 The LORD executes righteousness
And justice for all who are oppressed.
7 He made known His ways to Moses,
His acts to the children of Israel.
8 The LORD is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
9 He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep His anger forever.
10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
12 As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father pities his children,
So the LORD pities those who fear Him.
14 For He knows our frame;
He remembers that we are dust.

15 As for man, his days are like grass;
As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
And its place remembers it no more.
17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting
On those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children,
18 To such as keep His covenant,
And to those who remember His commandments to do them.

19 The LORD has established His throne in heaven,
And His kingdom rules over all.

20 Bless the LORD, you His angels,
Who excel in strength, who do His word,
Heeding the voice of His word.
21 Bless the LORD, all you His hosts,
You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
22 Bless the LORD, all His works,
In all places of His dominion.

Bless the LORD, O my soul! (Psalm 103, New King James Version)

Our Moral Compass - 2 Chronicles 7:14

Tuesday, August 04, 2009

When Abraham Lincoln was introduced to author Harriet Beecher Stowe, he reportedly said that she was “the little woman who wrote the book that started this great war.”

Although President Lincoln’s comment wasn’t entirely serious, Stowe’s novel Uncle Tom’s Cabin was instrumental in abolishing slavery in the US. Its graphic depiction of racism and the injustice of slavery helped lead to the start of civil war. Ultimately, Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation declared that all slaves “shall be free.” Thus, Stowe’s novel helped to change a nation’s moral compass.

Centuries earlier, King Solomon was told about what would change the moral compass of God’s people Israel. It was to start with humility and confession. The Lord told Solomon: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chron. 7:14).

As a Christian community, we should first take an inventory of our own personal lives. As we humbly seek God in prayer and repentance of sin, changes begin in our lives. God may then use us to change a nation’s moral compass. — Dennis Fisher
